One of the premier amateur golfing events was held right here locally at the Berkeley Hall Club’s North Course from July 11-16. It was winner Phillip Knowles who won the 18th annual Players Amateur on the second hole during a sudden death playoff. Players competed for an exemption into the 2018 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing, which is South Carolina’s only PGA Tour event. All profits from both the RBC Heritage and The Players Amateur is donated to charity organizations to improve the lives of others. These are truly events not to miss. The Players Amateur is free admission and open to the public.
